Stores and products
The Stores page is where you decide which PizzaBot products each store runs. Everything else follows from those switches: the licence on the tablet, what Setup is allowed to install, and the monthly bill.
Adding a store
Section titled “Adding a store”Stores are added in Store Planner, which shares your account. A store added there appears on the Stores page within a moment, with its number and status (open, building, planned, or closed). The console has no separate add-store form.
Turning a product on
Section titled “Turning a product on”Each store row has a switch for Preppy, DMS, and OCGuide, with the price per store per month next to it. Switch a product on and:
- The store is licensed for that product. Tablets paired to the store for that product unlock, and new tablets can be paired. Nobody ever types a licence key.
- The monthly estimate at the top of the page updates. Billing follows the switches automatically, prorated for the month.
Switch it off and the licence is revoked for the store and every tablet on it. A Preppy tablet keeps printing presets and quick items but stops taking content and support commands until it is licensed again.
Owners, billing members, and managers can flip the switches. Only the owner or a billing member can start the subscription.
How many tablets a store can have
Section titled “How many tablets a store can have”Each product licence covers a fixed number of devices per store:
| Product | Tablets per store |
|---|---|
| Preppy | 3 |
| DMS | 1 |
| OCGuide | 1 |
When a store is full, pairing another tablet fails with a message to remove one first. Revoke the old device on the Devices page and pair again. Reinstalling on the same tablet does not use a new slot.
Bundles
Section titled “Bundles”The Stores page shows when a store qualifies for the In-Store bundle (all three kitchen products) or the Full package (all four, including HQ). The pricing page has the current numbers. A one-time Build pack for a new store can be bought per store from the same page; it is included with the Full package.
Trials and billing
Section titled “Trials and billing”A new account starts on a trial. Before the trial ends, go to Billing and tap Start subscription. That opens a checkout where you add a card; the card is not charged until the trial ends, and promotion codes are accepted there. After that, Manage billing opens your billing portal for cards, invoices, and cancellation.
Two things to know:
- Turning a product on, or pairing a tablet, needs either a subscription or a running trial. If the trial has lapsed, add a card first.
- Occasionally PizzaBot grants a card-free trial for a set period. The Overview and Billing pages say so and show the date to add a card by.
You can tick Pay annually on the Billing page to prepay a year at a discount, and Include Store Planner if you want the market map without HQ. The price you subscribe at stays yours.
