Hardware guide
Every In-Store product runs on cheap, replaceable consumer hardware. Bring your own, or order a kit that arrives paired to your store.
Preppy

Tablets that came in Windows S mode need to leave it once; the install page explains how. Preppy was also built for Raspberry Pi, and the stores that run it that way keep working, but new installs are Windows only. Ask if you have existing hardware you want to reuse.
One Windows 11 tablet mounted in landscape outside the walk-in door. A 1280 by 800 screen is the design target; a Surface Go 2 is what we use. Mounted upright it switches to a portrait layout, and a rotation lock in Settings keeps it there. Budget under $250. The tablet runs everything locally, so no other equipment is required.
OCGuide
Section titled “OCGuide”A fanless mini PC (Intel N100 class) or Raspberry Pi 5 with one or two HDMI TVs. Runs fully offline in kiosk mode. A wired or wireless keypad on the line is the only control.
Kits ship paired to the store you name on the order, with the store’s settings and content from the console. Plug in power, connect Wi-Fi in settings, and go. Kit pricing is quoted per order; see pricing.
Replacing a device
Section titled “Replacing a device”Devices are not special. If one dies, run PizzaBot Setup on a replacement, pair it to the store from your phone, and the console sends the store’s settings and content down. Revoke the old device on the Devices page to free its slot.
